Warranty Information

Our Commitment to Quality and Assurance

At Container Spanz, we pride ourselves on delivering shelters built to withstand New Zealand’s toughest conditions. Our shelters are designed with premium materials and expert engineering to provide unmatched durability, reliability, and performance. To back this up, we offer an industry-leading warranty to ensure your peace of mind and satisfaction.

5-Year Full Parts Warranty

Our shelters come with a comprehensive 10-Year Full Parts Warranty covering any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions. This means you can trust that every component of your shelter is designed to perform and last.

What’s Covered:
  • Hot-dipped galvanised steel frames
  • UV stabilised, Ripstop PVC covers (610gsm)
  • Purlins, portals, and other structural components

What’s Not Covered:
  • Wear and tear due to normal usage, weather exposure, or environmental factors
  • Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or modifications
  • Free end walls (as noted in product descriptions)
  • Accessories or optional add-ons not part of the original shelter package
End Wall Options

While our shelters include Free Full End Walls for select models, these are not covered under the warranty for free replacement. However, rest assured, our end walls are built to the same high standards of durability and performance.

For all shelters, optional steel-framed end walls with mechanical wind-up/down doors are available to further enhance your shelter’s functionality and protection. These upgrades are supported by the same robust engineering standards but are subject to separate warranty terms.

Conditions of Warranty

To ensure the validity of your warranty, please adhere to the following conditions:

1. Proper Installation:
All shelters must be installed according to the provided assembly instructions and using the recommended tools. Installation by our certified professionals is highly recommended to ensure compliance with NZ engineering certifications and optimal performance.

2. Regular Maintenance:
Periodic maintenance is required to keep your shelter in good condition. This includes:

  • Tightening bolts and tensioning straps periodically
  • Inspecting and cleaning covers to prevent dirt buildup
  • Repairing minor damage (e.g., small tears or loose fittings) promptly to avoid further issues

3. Usage Within Intended Purpose: The warranty applies only to shelters used for their intended purpose. Misuse, overloading, or exposure to extreme conditions beyond specified ratings (e.g., snow loads or wind zones) voids the warranty.

Claiming Your Warranty

If you experience an issue with your Container Spanz shelter, follow these simple steps to file a warranty claim:

1. Contact Our Support Team: Email us at info@containerspanz.nz or call 09 884 0788. Please provide the following details:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order number)
  • Photos of the issue or defect
  • A brief description of the problem

2. Evaluation Process: Our team will review your claim and may request additional details or arrange an inspection. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will repair, replace, or provide the necessary parts at no cost to you.

3. Resolution: Depending on the nature of the claim, we will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In cases where repairs or replacements are not feasible, we may offer alternative solutions.

Exclusions and Limitations

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damage caused by acts of nature (e.g., earthquakes, floods, cyclones)
  • Installation errors or modifications made by unauthorised parties
  • Shelters used in non-compliant setups or for unintended purposes
  • Consequential damages or losses resulting from shelter failure
