Introduction
Welcome to Container Spanz. By using our products, services, and website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of service. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and mutual understanding between you, the customer, and Container Spanz. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with your purchase.
Council Consenting Responsibilities
Container Spanz shelters are a versatile and adaptable solution to your shelter needs; however, compliance with local regulations is essential.
- Customer Responsibility: Customers are solely responsible for obtaining any council consents or approvals required for the installation and use of their shelter.
- Non-Liability: Container Spanz will not be held accountable for any consequences arising from a customer’s failure to secure the necessary consents.
- Site-Specific Consultation: While not all shelters require council consent, customers are advised to consult with their local authorities to confirm requirements specific to their location and intended use.
Engineer Approved Structures
To ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards, Container Spanz mandates that all shelters are securely installed on an engineer-approved structure.
- Foundation Requirements: Proper screw piles, ballast, or other approved foundations must be used, as specified by a qualified engineering professional.
- Certification: Customers must obtain a sign-off from a qualified engineer to confirm the structural integrity and suitability of the foundation.
- Risk of Non-Compliance: Failure to meet these requirements may result in damage to the shelter, void warranties, and invalidate any other guarantees provided by Container Spanz.
Installation and Usage
- Proper Installation: All shelters must be installed following the provided assembly instructions. Professional installation by certified personnel is strongly recommended.
- Intended Use: Shelters must be used solely for their intended purpose and within the specified load ratings. Improper use or overloading may compromise safety and void warranties.
- Maintenance: Regular maintenance, including tightening bolts, inspecting covers, and repairing minor damage, is required to ensure the longevity and functionality of the shelter.
Warranty Limitations
Please refer to our Warranty Information page for detailed terms and conditions regarding warranty coverage.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, non-compliance with council regulations, or exposure to extreme conditions outside the specified ratings.
- Voided Coverage: Any damage caused by non-compliance with these terms, including the lack of engineer-approved foundations, will void the warranty.
Liability and Disclaimer
- Limitation of Liability: Container Spanz shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use our shelters or products.
- Acts of Nature: Damage caused by natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, cyclones) is not covered under our warranty or terms of service.
